FAQ

How long does it take to produce an order?

When is comes to signage there really is no definitive answer to that question. Project timelines really depend on all of the steps required or the total production. Steps such as design, finishing, and installation can add not only days, but potentially weeks to your project. In general we aim to produce and finish all of our projects within a two week timeline.

What types of materials do you print on?

When it comes to sign and printing materials, we believe in using the absolute best materials available on the market. We work with our clients to select the appropriate product for each project. These materials include:

  • Various Adhesive Vinyls
  • Vinyl Banners
  • Perforated Vinyls
  • Polyfilms
  • Papers
  • Canvas
  • Optically Clear Materials
  • Reflective Vinyls
  • Static Cling Materials

What type of artwork do you need?

When it comes to general printing, high resolution PDF or JPG files are the best to ensure print quality. Items such as cut logos or graphics typically will require vector graphics, EPS or AI files. Visit the Upload Artwork section of our site for more information.

What is an over-laminate and when do I need it?

Over-laminate or laminating is a process of sealing and protecting printed graphics. Generally over-laminate is used and required for any long-term prints that will be either in direct sunlight or outside. Products such as exterior signs, vehicle graphics, wall graphics, stickers, polyfilms, and trade show displays typically require lamination.

What different sizes can you print?

As a wide and grand format printer, we’re able to print and produce anything from small decals to large 8′ wide x 150′ long prints.

What are the best quantities to be cost effective?

When it comes to quantities of print, there can definitely be some economies of scale. Generally every project requires some set-up and pre-press work. This time can be the same for a project of 1 unit or 1000 units. Spreading out this onboarding time over multiple units can make a big difference in costing on a per piece basis.

How long will my sign products last?

Most printed and laminated products can last up to 5-7 years if properly cared for. Signs that are in direct sunlight more are susceptible to colour fading.
